A stronger body.A steadier mind.

Remind is a free, 8-week programme that blends real exercise with mental-health support — guided by a trainer who gets it, on referral from your GP. Delivered by OJ Gyms.

The idea

Feeling better shouldn't wait for motivation.

When the hardest part is starting, a structured plan and a trainer in your corner do the heavy lifting — eight weeks at a time, in a place that feels normal.

Two ways in

Whichever brought you here, start in the right place.

How it works

One pathway, three roles, one record.

  1. 01

    Your GP refers

A short, structured form captures context and consent — no access to clinical notes beyond the programme.

  2. 02

    A coordinator assigns

Remind's programme lead reviews each referral and pairs you with a trainer and a gym that fits.

  3. 03

    A trainer delivers

Baseline in week one, structured sessions through weeks two to seven, endline in week eight. A wellbeing check every session.

Outcome reports flow back to the referring GP only after review by the Remind coordinator. Trainers never communicate with GPs directly.

Programme impact

Measured change, not just attendance.

We track symptoms at baseline and endline, then route the reviewed outcome back to the referring GP. An early, indicative snapshot from the demo cohort — small numbers, shown honestly.

Why it works

Built around you, not just a workout.

Eight weeks of structure, encouragement, and measurement — designed for the days when starting feels hardest.

Structure for the days motivation is lowest.

You just have to show up. Your trainer brings the plan, the encouragement, and the consistency — week after week.

Measured properly

Validated clinical measures at baseline and endline — progress you can see, not just a feeling.

In their words

“The gym felt less intimidating because there was a plan, and each week had a reason behind it.”

“The report gives me enough clinical context to discuss next steps, without exposing the trainer’s working notes.”

Built for clinical trust

Data stays where it should.

  1. Trainer

    assessments · sessions · notes

  2. Remind coordinator

    reviews & approves

  3. Referring GP

    approved reports only

Trainers never contact GPs directly — the coordinator is the only route.

Role-separated by design.

GPs see their own referrals and approved outcome reports. Trainers see only the people assigned to them. Coordinator approval is the only route to the GP.

Safety checks every session.

PHQ-9 self-harm responses and in-session observations surface to the coordinator within minutes.

Auditable by default.

Every change is logged. Reports back to GPs carry the coordinator's approval.
