No cost to you

Is this for you?

If any of this sounds familiar, you’re in the right place.

You don’t need to be “sporty” or have it all figured out. Remind is built for people who want to feel better and could use a steady hand to start.

  • Your mood has been low, or everything feels like more effort than it used to.
  • Anxiety is making everyday things harder.
  • You've lost your routine, and starting at a gym on your own feels daunting.
  • You want support that isn't only medication or a long waiting list.

How you start

Getting started is simpler than it sounds.

There’s no application to chase and nothing to arrange yourself. Once your GP refers you, Remind takes it from there.

  1. Step 01

    Your GP signs you on

You're referred through the Remind portal — a short, structured form your GP fills in with you, and shared only with your consent.

  2. Step 02

    A coordinator matches you

A Remind coordinator reviews your referral and pairs you with a trainer and a local gym that fits — no two starts look quite the same.

  3. Step 03

    You book your first session

Remind gets in touch with you directly to confirm the details and book your first session, at a time that works for you.

Your 8 weeks

Eight weeks, tailored to you.

The shape stays the same. What happens inside it is built around you — and adjusted as you go.

Week 1

Your first session

You meet your trainer, take a few baseline measures, and set goals together — a gentle starting point you can look back on.

Weeks 2–7

Weekly 1:1, tuned to you

Each week, one session that blends movement with a wellbeing check-in — and a trainer who adapts the plan to how you're actually doing.

Week 8

Endline, and your summary

A final set of measures, then a coordinator-reviewed summary goes back to your GP — so your progress is shared, carefully.

Your trainer

The same face, every week.

The programme lives or dies on the person guiding it. On Remind, that’s one trainer who gets to know you — and knows how to hold both sides of the work.

  • Qualified, and trained for this

A qualified personal trainer who's also trained in mental-health support — so the way you move and the way you feel are looked after together.

  • The same familiar face

You see the same trainer every week. No re-explaining yourself, no starting over — just someone who gets to know you.

  • A gym, not a clinic

Sessions happen in a friendly OJ Gyms studio in Devon — somewhere you can just be yourself, not a clinical room.

  • Prepared before you meet

Every Remind trainer completes our mandatory training before working with anyone on the programme.

In their words

“I didn’t think a gym was for someone like me. Having the same person there each week — who actually asked how I was — is what kept me coming back.”

What it costs

It costs you nothing to start.

Money should never be the reason you don’t begin. On referral from your GP, the whole programme is covered — there’s nothing to pay and no small print.

Your eight weeks

Free, on GP referral

Every session, every measure, and your trainer’s time — all included for the full programme.

Afterwards, if you choose

A discounted member rate

If you’d like to keep training when the eight weeks are up, you can carry on at OJ Gyms at a reduced member rate. Entirely optional, never pushed — plenty of people simply take what they’ve built and run with it.

You’re never on your own.

Every session includes a check-in on how you’re doing. If anything is worrying you — or us — there’s always someone to talk to, and we’ll be clear about what happens next. If you ever need urgent help, call 999, or Samaritans free any time on 116 123.

Ready when you are

The first step isa word with your GP.

Remind is free, on referral from your GP. The easiest next step is to mention it at your next appointment — take our one-page summary with you so it’s easy to bring up.
